Chef Wong graduated from the International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute of Tampa. She is our pastry chef extrodinaire. Her favorite dessert to make and eat at Grass Root is the Mango Cobbler. There are those that think a plant based diet will not provide the nutrition needed to live a healthy lifestyle. To those I would love to introduce Nicole Wong. She is our pastry chef and the creator of many of the amazing desserts that have made Grass Root stand out amongst the crowd. Chef Wong is an avid marathon and running enthusiast. In May 2013 she completed her most resent comquest of a 26.2 mile marathon. It is not her first and we are sure it is not her last. Not only is she an inspiration to us all, but she is living proof of what plant based power really means! Join us in congratulating our own personal superstar. We are so lucky to have her be a part of team Grass Root!
